TOM SCOtt

Our friend has a new store in the Lower East Side. His clothing line and home items are pretty awesome. Check it out here.

At the other flea.

4 framed prints from Vanity Fair magazine by Leslie Ward, signed "Spy." I haven't identified all of the caricatures but the bottom left is Sir Richard Owen who was best known for his opposition to Charles Darwin's natural selection theory.

At the flea.

I went to the Brooklyn Flea (Fort Greene) today and saw these awesoooome chairs. I loved them but didn't even ask the price, dummy! Very Rick Owens-esque (see below)

The Sign is UP

opening soon...

Party!

This summer we helped out with a couple of shoots for Country Living Magazine. Last night we hosted a reunion dinner for Natalie Warady (style director at CL), Lucas Allen (photographer), Natasha Louise King (stylist, stuck on the runway in Chicago) and the proud owners of the sweetest ocean side cottage on the Vineyard. Rebecca Weitzman of 'Inoteca Restaurant created an amazing meal and a good time was had by all!

Look Caras Magazine

We were just featured in the November issue of Look Caras. It's the Venezuelan branch of a popular Mexican Magazine. The article is about the 'much awaited' VIP Hotel in Caracas. Check it out and if you happen to be in Venezuela don't forget to pick up a copy (on news stands now.)

'Let the wild rumpus start!'

Hope you had a fun Halloween weekend. I dressed as Max from 'Where The Wild Things Are': a pretend king who is really a boy pretending to be a wolf!

I have to admit there were a few Max's out there on Saturday night. However, our friend Vanessa totally rocked a Fridah Kahlo costume (a bit more original than mine). She looked amazing.

Morning

My favorite breakfast: a corn muffin and iced coffee from local. 144 Sullivan Street.

Dish---WARE

Apparently I have a big crush on block-like stack able dishes. I like these even more than the vintage black and white dishes from last month! HANABLOMST.
BL
OCK from last month.

I Heart New York.

I recently registered to vote in New York State (sorry New Mexico!) I was called for Jury Duty (or as I've been referring to it "jury dirty") almost right away (thanks New York!) It's interesting that they ask you to be fair and unbiased against the defendants in each case (innocent until proven guilty) yet the building is named CRIMINAL courts building. Makes me think its full of criminals!
Below: sights and smells of Chinatown.

Below: I tried NOT to use the restroom, but finally succumbed and was treated to these very cool doorknobs. I can't imagine NYC paying $200-$500 for a custom doorknob today. At least not for their CRIMINAL courts building.

Inca Empire

My parents are visiting Peru and just sent me the following message with attached photo:

Room with a View

While Ariel was at Storm King this past weekend, I had a fall experience of my own. See above the view from my soho apartment. The current season is my favorite time to be home.

I cant believe it will soon be this, ugh
