(a pink moon and) The Longest Night of the Year

A full lunar eclipse will be visible this evening during the longest night of the year. This will be the first time a lunar eclipse has fallen on the winter solstice since 1638!
Earth’s shadow will hit the moon at 1:32 a.m. and the moon will turn pink from 2:41 a.m. to 3:53 a.m. Forecast is clear and 24 degrees...enjoy.
