Home Green Home with Country Living
The 1,600 square foot “Hudson ” cottage reflects the comfortable, casual lifestyle of Country Living’s readers and will be featured in the November 2010 issue of Country Living magazine. All of the interior and exterior details have been hand-selected by the magazine’s editors. Interior designer Katie Ridder superbly decorated the home with green furnishings and an emphasis on bold color. With 2 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths, the home features a 1,100-square-foot wrap-around porch and an open floor plan that fully integrates the greenest products and practices available today.

She's out!
I was watching M.A. on moma.org and caught this woman sitting with her and fidgeting like crazy. I felt so badly for Marina...she finally bowed her head deeply until the guards escorted ms fidget out of the chair. phew! Last couple days to see her and sit with her (if you're lucky!)

"Buildings you have to see before you die"
We have been fans of artist Jose Davila's work for a while.
He is represented by Renwick Gallery in New York and as they explained: 'His work centers on issues of architecture, impermanence, and the conditions of modernity'
This piece is appropriately called “Buildings You Have to See Before You Die”

Peacocks
This peacock from Remodelista reminded me of one of my favorite windows and stores in New York, Aedes de Venustas. Check out the candle they carry from Paris' Hotel Costes. It's divine.

Art is Weird.

I finally made it to MoMA to see Maria Abramovic's "The Artist is Present" which totally creeped me out! If you live in NYC there's no way you've missed the ads for the show or the hype (people getting thrown out for touching the nudes, nudes getting thrown out for becoming aroused). I didn't "sit" with her because she terrifies me, but look who did: CLICK
